PUBLICITY RELEASE:
By registering a child for Camp Spalding summer programs, the child’s parents agree to the following: I hereby grant permission to Camp Spalding to photograph and videotape my child during camp activities and to use the photographs, video images and voice in Camp Spalding promotional materials without compensation or approval rights.

NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY:
Camp Spalding welcomes all campers, regardless of race, sex, national origin, physical handicap, or religious background

Campers coming to Resident (including Leadership, Arts Camp and Family) or Pioneer Camps should arrive at Spalding between 3:00-4:00 p.m. on the first day of the dates listed. Registration for all Resident camps will be in the dining hall beginning at 3:00 p.m., with orientation at 4:00 p.m. Pioneer registration is from 3:00-4:00 pm at Pioneer Camp. Please make every effort to arrive between 2:45 pm - 4:00 p.m. (Tip: Timing your arrival for between 3:30 – 4:00 pm on Sunday will get you a better parking spot and a much shorter line!) Late arrivals should notify the registrar by calling the camp. The camp has a NO PETS POLICY, including times of arrival and departure.

All campers should be picked-up at 11:00 a.m. on the last day listed. Arts Camp campers’ parents should arrive at 11:30 a.m. on the last day listed for an all-camp performance. “Mom / Dad & Me” Overnight concludes at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

Please make sure your child’s clothing and other belongings are labeled with his or her name. We make every attempt to reunite lost articles with owners at the closing service on the final morning. However, Camp Spalding cannot be responsible for returning unclaimed belongings.

Mail delivery will be facilitated by addressing your mail as follows: Name of camper, c/o Camp Spalding, 8513 Hwy 211, Newport, WA 99156, and then writing the name of the camp (e.g. Discovery, Pioneer #202, etc.) in the lower left hand corner of the envelope. Mail should be post-marked no later than two days prior to the last full day of camp to ensure timely arrival (3 days prior if outside the Inland NW). Parcels: It is recommended that all packages be sent via UPS or FedEx to ensure direct delivery to camp. Do NOT require a signature for delivery.

Phone calls from parents to campers are discouraged, and campers will not be allowed to make phone calls during the week.

We will, of course, take emergency messages at (509) 447-4388.
